What keeps me grounded?

There are no specific strategies that were perfect but self-care and having balance are the two key strategies that have helped me practice resilience during this epidemic.

Being a resilient nursing student during this crisis has given me the mental ability to adapt and overcome challenges we have faced so far. I expect these strategies to help me overcome something that seems so insurmountable also by thinking about the grit that you have to have to persevere despite the odds.

I believe the most valuable and usable practice that I have learned is having a balance of my academics and social life.

Thanks for joining our conversation. Can you tell us more about how you developed that academic/social life balance? It's not so easy for some of us! Is there some way your nursing instructors have helped you have that balance? Is there something more they could be doing?
