Resilience in COVID-19
As a nursing student, studying and attending classes from home can be difficult. These days I have gotten so used to the idea of been at home that I struggle to go to the library to study. Honestly, although I have and know the strategies to build my resilience in this trying times, I still struggle with keeping to it. However, one of the strategies that got me through the pandemic was to adjust my thought process. It can be difficult to maintain an optimistic outlook during this times when everybody feels uncertain but thinking positively helps build hope that there are better times ahead if you keep going. I learnt coping skills during the pandemic and I’m positive that they will help me when I become a nurse to identify and relieve stress.
