Strategies that got me through the pandemic was staying very active, remembering that self care is critical, and spending as much time outdoors. I try to visualize that there will be an end to the pandemic and stay positive.
These strategies will help me as a nurse because I will be able to teach them to my patients who have stress. Visualization is very therapeutic and can help patients who are trying to see the end of when they can leave the hospital and return to their normal routine.
I think the most valuable skill I have learned is mindfulness because it can have a positive impact on physical and mental health and can be conducted at any time in any location.
